Why Choose Hot Melt Adhesives?

We recommend this product for edge banding because we believe it works exceptionally well with many of the ranges that we supply and as such it compliments the David Clouting offering.

Having said that, these types of adhesive are particularly useful in all kinds of commercial applications as they adhere strongly to most types of materials, this includes:

  • metal
  • plastic
  • glass
  • rubber
  • ceramic
  • leather
  • wood
  • glass
  • fabric

Being able to use one adhesive on so many different materials is a massive benefit, but it doesn’t stop there. You can also apply the product in a range of conditions without compromising the results. It can be applied in cold, hot or wet conditions and will still work effectively.

Hot Melt adhesives are also non hazardous which ensures that they are safe to handle and with hardly any odour they make a clean and easy product to use. This product also saves you money because you don’t need to purchase a whole range of adhesives for different uses, you can simply use this one for everything!

Also, the clear version is great if using clear materials as the adhesive makes sure that your project maintains the aesthetics that you are going for, there’s nothing worse that having  bits of glue visible. It ruins the whole effect and ‘down grades’ the quality of your installation.

So if you want to save time, money and get the job done efficiently, cleanly and completely safely then please talk to us about our hot melt adhesive options.
